LONDON FASHION WEEKEND (VODAPHONE) !!!!!

*waves and swirls*...... Helluuuurrrrrrr!!! While we are all not lucky enough to get an invite to London fashion week, I really was not going to let that stop me from attending. I am always so envious of everyone that attends LONDON FASHION WEEK, This year I HAD to, I mean I just had to go (where there is a will, there is a way right?). So purchased tickets for the weekend show online ( we all have to start somewhere right?). Can I just say I had such blast, absolute whale of a time. Saying that, Course I knew it would be fabulous but really didn't know what to expect, this was my first real fashion show experience. I wanted the full experience, might as well make the most of the day. I got the tickets for the shop, bag and catwalk package and with the 20% discount code I found online, it was surprisingly affordable ( you should all know by now, I love me a bargain). Bought my tickets a while back and it felt like I was waiting forever and a day before the day actually came ( I'm tad bit VERY inpatient). I attended the Saturday evening show. The whole event flew by, not to sure if it was actually short or I enjoyed myself far too much or the fact that we did get there late *giggles* ( I blame the girls, always making me late, 4 ladies getting ready together was never going to be a smooth ride) The actual catwalk itself lasted only about 15 minutes, I am sure I shed a little tear when it was finished, I just did not want it to stop, literally could have watched the catwalk foreverrrrrr. Before the catwalk we got a chance to shop and walk around and got a feel of the whole scene (which I loved). While shopping I was keeping a look out for all the outfits folks had on. I can never help myself, I have a passion for personal style and love seeing what people wear. I managed to get a few snaps of some of the outfits I loved that day, so look out for my next post. The fact that I got there late did not give me enough time to look through all the boutiques and rummage through and find myself some bargains :(. The items that did catch my eye were still jaw dropping expensive, even with the discounts, like this amazing sequined number I feel in love with, which was £1,900 after discount ( yes a moment of silence please)............................ sigh. Girl has expensive taste right? but I don't have madam Beckham bank balance just yet so that expensive taste shall remain nothing but a fantasy for a while but a girl can still dream right? and dream I did. In my head I purchased that sexy sequined number and looked nothing less than fabulous in it. Yes. *swirls and does the queen's wave* Well that is all from me for now, hope you enjoy the pics of my experience and my outfit. Speaking of my outfit, I wore this fabulous drape style jacket that was made by a friend of mine ( talented girl) paired with a black body-con dress from Topshop and a strap heel from Tk Max. The outfit I originally wanted to wear just did not go to plan and the dress I wanted was sold out, so had to make do with the Topshop dress I already had lurking in my wardrobe.

I have thee cheesiest grin!! urgh!! lol

COSMOPOLITAN!!!!!!

Really?.. Two post in a week, oh I do spoil you guys *cheeky grin*. My last post was about my go to outfit but this outfit is one of my favourites. I am absolutely in love with these trousers, I can wear it in so many ways and create completely different looks ( means I'm getting my money's worth right? lol ) It's one of the key pieces in my wardrobe. I love clothing items that can be worn in different ways, even if it can't be worn differently, I WILL find a way ( where there's a will there's a way). I detest clothing that is only one sided ( a term of mine) it just makes it boring and I tend to stay away from that. Like I said in my previous post, I have an emotionally attachment to my clothes and I tend to keep my clothes for long period of time, I don't throw out clothes when a season changes, no, that is just not me, I don't buy things just because it's in fashion, if I don't see myself wearing it next year, I will not buy it. Example, the yellow blazer in this post was purchased about 4 years ago, believe it or not I paid 50p for it..... yes FIFTY PENNIES. I am still in love with this blazer as I was when I first got it and I don't see myself getting bored of it any time soon. That's how it is with pretty much most items in my wardrobe, it's like I take an oath with my clothes, till death ( meaning it gets ruined or i put on weight) do us part. Enjoy X

The " GO TO"

Kimono - Zara - dress - Vintage market - Shoes - Tk Max - Hat - H&M
                                                          Toodles......

Every girl has that one outfit that is her “go to” outfit and this is mine. We all have that one outfit that can make you feel a specific kind of way regardless of how you’re feeling. I LOVE this outfit, I have had this mini sheer dress for about 4 years now and it’s been there for me through thick and thin ( yes I have an emotional attachment to my clothes )Regardless of how I’m feeling, this outfit can instantly make me feel glamorous without even trying. Just throw it on and I’m good to go. What I love about my “go too” is that I can wear this anywhere, this is my favorite shopping outfit (easy to come one and off as I am trying clothes on) or if I’m having lunch or dinner with the girls. Also looks cute with flats, sandals and in winter I pair it with a Parker jacket, thick tights and Uggs and I’m ready.
