Plain Jane!

As promised, I mentioned in my last post I would blog the outfits I wore in Dubai. So here is the first one. This white Miss guided dress was worn to dinner on the first night. I originally fell in love with the Stella McCartney tuxedo dress and searched for something similar and this Miss-guided one was the closest I could find. I love the cut of the dress but wasn't so keen on the fit but then again you get what you pay for. I teamed this with a pair of gold Zara heels and a watch. If you've noticed in all my OOTD posts, I don't like to over style and over accessorize. I believe a good outfit needs no gimmicks and should speak for it self. To be honest, I'm not much of an accessory girl, wouldn't even know where to start and I'd probably end up looking like a clown, which is never cute. My watch is Michael kors and my lip paint is Lime Crime.

Zephy X Nxsh

Happy Sunday folks. A few weeks back I did a quick shoot with a talented mate of mine Chantal Nash who is a great photographer, she means business behind the lens. Make sure you head over to her tumblr page ( http://nxsh.tumblr.com/ ) to see more of her great work . It was a quick OOTD shoot with an outfit I wore to dinner. I love this outfit, was simple and quick. I have become so lazy with outfits recently. I am going through a phase where I just want to throw something on and still look good. That's what I love most about this shirt dress, threw this on and paired it with my nude pumps and I was ready to head out of the door. This dress was perfect for a dinner setting because I do like my food and with not having to worry about my food pouch showing through my outfit after dinner is a plus sign. Another thing I love about this dress, is that I can wear it in different ways and I am all for getting the most out of your money. I love that I can wear with a heels, flats, sandals or even with a pair of light wash jeans and bobs your uncle.
Originally was not going to blog this outfit because it was a really quick simple get up and go outfit but after posting a picture on my Instagram and the feedback I got, I decided to go ahead and blog. I don't usually blog all my outfits because I don't have enough time and getting pictures taken is far from convenient. For those asking the dress is from Asos ( no surprise there right? lol)

 Enjoy X

C A N D Y

Howdy *waves*.... Just a quick outfit post on an outfit I wore a couple weeks back but I didn't get a chance to take pictures. As promised in my last post I did mention I would take pictures of the outfit and do a post. This outfit was inspired by my new coat, which I am totally OBSESSED with at the moment. This is how most of my outfits are put together really. If I want to wear an item ( shoe, coat, dress etc..) I just put an outfit together based on one item. I ordered my coat and when it came I was in love... as in, in loveeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!. I needed an excuse, any excuse to wear it ( we have all been there right ladies??) it can't be just me lol. There have been times I have been gagging to wear something and i'll call my girls and arrange a dinner date just so I can wear whatever it is. Well I didn't buy it to sit pretty in my wardrobe right?. So I needed ( yes needed) to wear my coat and my friend invited me out with her to a ladies event, so no better chance than now. A little back story on my coat. I have had this image of this coat in my head but couldn't find it anywhere, originally I wanted it in a caramel/beige colour but couldn't find it anywhere. Always came across something similar but wasn't what I wanted then I found it on.....wait for it..... ASOS!!!!. Really don't know why I didn't go to my beloved site to begin with. Anyone who has been reading my blog for a while now should know I am obsessed with asos. urgh!! its everything. Getting my hands on this coat was no walk in the park believe me. I wasn't the only one who wanted this bad boy but I was so determined ( in a sort of weird, stalkerish way). When I want something I want it. simple. Originally sold out when I was searching for it but I've been in situations with Asos where something is sold out and it comes back in stock within 10 minutes ( when you shop on the site as much as I do, you tend to know these things ya see). I literally sat on the Asos website for about half hour and yep, you guessed it, it came back in stock and in the size I wanted. I got a size 10 just so I can wear it with different looks and wear it with layers. Wearing this coat is like being wrapped in candy floss. literally. I love it.I can literally wear something so bland and throw it on and it comes alive. No such thing as dress down day with this one. The attention I get wearing this coat is actually comedic, I get stop left right and centre while I'm out, everyone loves it. I stick out like a sore thumb in a crowd but my aim is never to blend in. I matched my coat with a pink skirt from river island and a nude top from Asos. Not the biggest fan of river island, I hardly wear anything from there, I find the way their cloths fit terrible, personally. I really wanted a skirt that exact shade of pink so I gave RI a chance and I still wasn't please with the fitting of the skirt.

LONDON FASHION WEEKEND (VODAPHONE) !!!!!

*waves and swirls*...... Helluuuurrrrrrr!!! While we are all not lucky enough to get an invite to London fashion week, I really was not going to let that stop me from attending. I am always so envious of everyone that attends LONDON FASHION WEEK, This year I HAD to, I mean I just had to go (where there is a will, there is a way right?). So purchased tickets for the weekend show online ( we all have to start somewhere right?). Can I just say I had such blast, absolute whale of a time. Saying that, Course I knew it would be fabulous but really didn't know what to expect, this was my first real fashion show experience. I wanted the full experience, might as well make the most of the day. I got the tickets for the shop, bag and catwalk package and with the 20% discount code I found online, it was surprisingly affordable ( you should all know by now, I love me a bargain). Bought my tickets a while back and it felt like I was waiting forever and a day before the day actually came ( I'm tad bit VERY inpatient). I attended the Saturday evening show. The whole event flew by, not to sure if it was actually short or I enjoyed myself far too much or the fact that we did get there late *giggles* ( I blame the girls, always making me late, 4 ladies getting ready together was never going to be a smooth ride) The actual catwalk itself lasted only about 15 minutes, I am sure I shed a little tear when it was finished, I just did not want it to stop, literally could have watched the catwalk foreverrrrrr. Before the catwalk we got a chance to shop and walk around and got a feel of the whole scene (which I loved). While shopping I was keeping a look out for all the outfits folks had on. I can never help myself, I have a passion for personal style and love seeing what people wear. I managed to get a few snaps of some of the outfits I loved that day, so look out for my next post. The fact that I got there late did not give me enough time to look through all the boutiques and rummage through and find myself some bargains :(. The items that did catch my eye were still jaw dropping expensive, even with the discounts, like this amazing sequined number I feel in love with, which was £1,900 after discount ( yes a moment of silence please)............................ sigh. Girl has expensive taste right? but I don't have madam Beckham bank balance just yet so that expensive taste shall remain nothing but a fantasy for a while but a girl can still dream right? and dream I did. In my head I purchased that sexy sequined number and looked nothing less than fabulous in it. Yes. *swirls and does the queen's wave* Well that is all from me for now, hope you enjoy the pics of my experience and my outfit. Speaking of my outfit, I wore this fabulous drape style jacket that was made by a friend of mine ( talented girl) paired with a black body-con dress from Topshop and a strap heel from Tk Max. The outfit I originally wanted to wear just did not go to plan and the dress I wanted was sold out, so had to make do with the Topshop dress I already had lurking in my wardrobe.

I have thee cheesiest grin!! urgh!! lol
