WIRELESS 2013!!!!

Hey folks,

First of all can I just say, I am absolutely IN LOVE!!!! with the weather at the moment, it doesn't even feel like I am in England. I'm not usually a big fan of summer because I get extremely hot ( I am one of those weirdos that are hot in winter so summer is torture for me). Not this year, I am absolutely loving it. I still can not believe the weather has lasted this long, In London we usually get short changed when it comes to summer, I call it "pity sun". So it was wireless weekend and me and my friends got ticket for the Saturday line up. I really didn't want to go at first because I am the biggest granny of all time *covers face*, I am not current with anything, especially when it comes to music. Wherever music is mentioned I am usually all the way at the back of the lineeeeee!!!!!. Pretty much in my own little world 90% of the time. What?... Don't judge me, it's a nice little island. Besides whenever I think of festivals, all that comes to mind is the crowd ( I am a girl that loves her personal space) hours on your feet, excessive spending and the hassle of getting back and forth. I didn't think I would have much fun seeing as it would be my first festival. Thankfully my cheeky bugger of a friend went against my will and purchased my ticket anyway. When I found out I was going I was quiet excited, exactly why is beyond me but I ended up having such an amazing time. Not sure if I will be attending next year but who knows? a girl is allowed to change her mind right?. The main thing for me, going to an event where i would be on my feet for umpteen hours and surrounded my hundreds and hundreds of folks in this heat was being comfortable. I had to be comfortable in what i wore. The usual festival fit is always jeans shorts, a crop top and converse. I am hardly ever comfortable in jeans so that fit was a definite NO NO for me and besides i have never been one to blend in the crowd and go for the safe option and wireless was no exception.

I opted for a simple look but still practical. I had been looking for an excuse to wear my matching set from h&m and this was just perfect. Everyone thought i was wearing a play suit but it was a two piece.

     Top : H&M
     Shorts : H&M
     Sandals: Office
     Sunglasses: Asos
     Bag : Asos

While at the festival, the line of  musicians wasn't the only thing i had my eye one. I always love seeing how people put pieces together.  While I wasn't particularly fascinated by most people's choice of outfit, looking out at the crowd, it looked like a memo of uniform was passed out with every ticket purchased. Every where I looked it was just the same outfit. shorts crop top and converses. No creativity whatsoever, outfits that lack personality are always such a bore for me ( I wont go into  personal style, think I have gone into that already ) but while roaming from stage to stage and waiting for acts to perform, I was eyeing up individuals and their choice of outfit ( ones that wasn't in the typical gear that is) and decided to do a cheeky mini post of the outfit that stood out to me. Did not manage to get all the outfits i saw but hey!. Enjoy X
